West Coast Recap | NYC Headmaster's Reception | #STAReunion18

West Coast Recap
Spring Break presents the opportunity for students, faculty and staff to leave town: this year was no exception! Click here for pictures from events last week in Seattle, Palo Alto, San Francisco and Los Angeles, at which throngs of alumni and friends came to hear the thanks and appreciation of seventh STA Headmaster Vance Wilson. Many thanks to our hosts in Seattle (Jairus Stratton ’71 and John Siegler ’73), San Francisco (classmate Richard Chow ’79), and Los Angeles (Brent Taylor ’65).

Upcoming New York City reception with the Headmaster
The Headmaster travels to his Yale Club in New York for a final road trip au revoir and thank you to the NYC Bulldog contingent; join us on April 24 (and mark your calendars for the Washington National Cathedral service of celebration – and STA reception – on May 17 here in DC).

Reunion 2018 -- Welcome all Alumni!
We invite all alumni to return to the Close May 4 and 5 for Reunion 2018! In just two short months, 13 classes with years ending on ’3 and ’8 will gather to celebrate their collective reunions and to reconnect with the School and one another. Memories will come flooding back, and friendships will be rekindled!

The joint NCS/STA Friday evening barbecue will be held on NCS’ North Field (at Hearst Hall) this year. Saturday morning will bring the Little Sanctuary alumni memorial service at nine, followed by alumni seminars led by current faculty (to include Donna Denize). The Headmaster’s luncheon in Cafritz Refectory is not to be missed, nor the beer tasting and networking event that will follow (now in its fourth year). We thank in advance the organizers and hosts who have arranged the class-specific parties on Saturday evening.

(I would remind fellow alumni that everyone is welcome at the general reunion events; nobody is excluded from these festivities, so if you live in the DC area or happen to be in town, please come by! All alumni are invited to the Friday night barbecue, Saturday luncheon and seminars, tours and events. A full schedule of activities can be found at this link. A word to the wise is sufficient: Mother’s Day is the Sunday following Flower Mart weekend!)

We look forward to seeing you at Reunion 2018!

Onward, Bulldogs!

Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
