Go, Go, Gadget!

Scenes from Lego Robot Field Day

Form A students have been studying coding and programming in their Science classes, and on Halloween, the lesson culminated with the ultimate battle: Lego Robot Field Day! Students competed in three categories, which they decided on as a class: Mr. Brown’s class competed in a Snake Race where robots had to weave in between markers; Mrs. Continetti’s class competed in a Package Race in which robots made three turns, raced to one end of the room, came to a complete stop while student placed a ball, the “package,” on the robot before it raced back to the starting point; and Mr. Levner’s class competed in Golf where they programmed their robot to putt a ball into a hole at various distances. Enjoy the photos!
