Views of St. Albans Today

Thank you to everyone who attended and volunteered this weekend’s Open House. The Admissions Office enjoyed sharing the new St. Albans view book with families of prospective students. You can view the book online here.

The school’s previous view book, printed in 2011, was out of date, with no photos of new fields! But it had one place-setting picture we loved – of Lower School boys hanging out near the Peace Cross with the Cathedral in the background. We decided to re-create the photo with Upper School boys, and 5 of the 7 students in the original spring 2011 photo returned to campus in late August, just days before school began, to pose again by the Peace Cross. One even sported the same style pink shirt and striped blue tie, albeit in a larger size!

Thank you to the students who uncomplainingly showed up on a hot summer day in school dress, the design firm Auras Design, and the photographer Julie Ann Woodford for making this photo comparison possible! Enjoy the photos and the viewbook.

Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
