STA Names New Head of School

Jason F. Robinson to succeed Vance Wilson in 2018

At an early morning gathering in the Little Sanctuary, Governing Board Chair Maria Donoghue Velleca announced today that Jason F. Robinson will be the eighth headmaster of St. Albans School, succeeding Vance Wilson in July 2018. Mr. Robinson is currently the assistant head of school for academics and head of upper school at Princeton Day School, in New Jersey.

In accepting the position, Robinson noted: “When I became an educator, it was because I felt a deep calling to devote myself to this work – to living and learning with boys in an academic and spiritual community. I am so deeply honored to have been given this opportunity and am so genuinely excited to be part of the future of St. Albans. Thank you.”
