Making Waves

Form C science classes welcomed Beauvoir First Graders!

Mr. Miller and C Formers welcomed 1st grade students from Beauvoir to their class on May 11, for a special lesson on waves. Students learned about transverse and longitudinal waves using Slinkies, and delved deeper into the lesson by making their very own wave machine with duct tape, skewers, and gummy bears. The highlight of the lesson plan was when students were finally able to enjoy the “fruits” of their labor and devour the gummy bears. Enjoy the photos!
