Congratulations to our Cum Laude Inductees

Sixteen members of the St. Albans Class of 2017 were inducted into the Cum Laude Society on April 24, 2017. The society recognizes not only superior scholarly achievement, but also the character qualities of areté (excellence), diké (justice), timé (honor). Please join us in congratulating them.

David Gardner ’84 (father of Zach ’17 and Gabe ’14, and co-founder of the Motley Fool) delivered the induction address. He challenged the students to “lead a more interesting life and become a more interesting version of you - by saying yes to new things, growing your circle of competence, pushing out its perimeter, because the farther you do, the more you will learn, experience, and grow.”
