The St. Albans crew went to Philadelphia this past weekend to compete in the Stotesbury Cup Regatta. Started in 1927, this is the largest high school regatta in the country, and crews from all over the Mid-Atlantic participate. STA competed in the Freshman 8, Junior 4, 2nd Varsity 8, and Senior 8. The weekend was highlighted by a gold medal in the 2nd V8. STA captured The Hammer trophy for the second year in a row. Our Senior 8 placed 4th in a deep and competitive field, and the Junior 4 placed 5th out of a huge field of 66 crews. Enjoy the video of the 2nd V8 victory!
