Track & Field Clinches IAC Championship

This year’s IAC Championship will go down as one of the closest, most exciting, and tense meets in IAC history. Said Head Track Coach Ted Findler, “Everyone on our team should be so proud of their effort, determination, and performance.”

Initially, the final score was announced as 151-150, with STA coming up one point short. However, a scoring mistake was discovered and once corrected, the final score was updated to 152-151, making St. Albans the IAC champions.

“The heart, courage, grace, and class that the team showed, both in defeat and victory, was remarkable. This team has left a legacy that will impact future generations of St. Albans track and field athletes. Congratulations also to the Bullis squad; there is no question that they are a well-coached and talented team. Both teams brought the absolute best out of each other,” said Findler.
