Matt Bowman '09 Pitches Two Scoreless Innings in Major League Debut

Congratulations to pitcher Matt Bowman '09, who made his Major League debut with the St. Louis Cardinals on April 6, 2016. Pitching two scoreless innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Matt walked 1 and struck out 2. His ERA early in the season: 0.00. Although seven other STA grads have played professionally in the minors, Matt is the first to play in the major leagues.
