College Case Studies Night for Juniors and Parents
STA Upper SchoolThis event will include juniors and their parents from St. Albans, NCS and Maret, along with admissions officers from about 35 colleges and universities. Students and parents will have the opportunity to read fictional admissions applications and make admissions decisions while learning some of the nuances of a complex process. A college fair will follow the case studies program. Here is a flyer about the program. RSVP's are appreciated to help us plan for an accurate attendance. -

Internationally renowned neurologist, Dr. Roger Packer, Senior Vice President, Center for Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine; Dr. Adelaide Robb, Chief, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences; and Dr. Randi Streisand, Chief, Psychology and Behavioral Health, at Children’s National Health System, will speak on the current climate and future of children’s mental health: the prevalence of untreated mental illness in young people, the best practices, treatments and advice for parents. Refreshments will be served. -

Tennis Parent-Coach Meeting
Marriott Hall - MH-101 \ Faculty Convocation Room - MH-101Join us for the Parent-Coach Tennis Meeting on Thursday, February 15, in the Faculty Convocation Room (Marriott Hall). The meeting will focus on important information about the spring season: tryouts, schedules, program philosophy, the spring break trip for Upper School students, summer camps, etc.- The Lower School meeting (grades 6, 7, and 8) takes place from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Lower School players are invited to attend the meeting with their parents.
- The Upper School meeting takes place from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Upper School players are expected to attend the meeting with at least one parent.
- The overlapping 30 minutes between meetings will be for both groups which will focus on how boys can improve their skills during the off season.
- The Lower School meeting (grades 6, 7, and 8) takes place from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Lower School players are invited to attend the meeting with their parents.
