Mousetrap Car Races

Form A: Moustrap Car Race

Over the course of two weeks, Form A built mousetrap-powered cars designed to travel great distances. They practiced with their cars in the two STA gyms, but the floors were too short for the competition, so the students tested them out in the hallway on the top floor of Marriott Hall. This presented a new challenge to make sure their cars drove straight in the narrow hallway. The farthest a car went was 30.42 meters! For comparison, a high school basketball court is 25 meters long. Enjoy the photos!
