Cornelius Green to be Inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame

Congratulations to our very own Cornelius Green, who will be inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame in December. Green played in four Rose Bowls (1973-1976), three of which he started, while playing quarterback for the Ohio State University. Green was named MVP of the 1974 Rose Bowl against USC where he threw for 129 yards and ran for 45 yards and a touchdown. Legendary Buckeye Coach Woody Hayes described the 1974 Rose Bowl as, “the best game we've ever, EVER played!” Green was recently honored at an OSU game for this accomplishment.
