Enjoy the photos!

Last year the Parents’ Association awarded eight Upper School boys with Visual Arts Summer Fellowships which allowed them to further study visual media of their choosing over the summer. On October 12, the STA community gathered to recognize the hard work, talent, and adventures of this creative group. The fellowship funded the following students and coursework:

Jonathan Merril ’19 for photography at American University, Matthew Kellenberg ’18 for film making at American University, Peter Netchvolodoff ’18 for painting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Richard Oh ’18 for drawing and painting at George Washington University, Shiva Khana Yamamoto ’19 for car photography at the Simeone Museum in Philadelphia, William Randall ’17 and William Sheedy ’17 for drone cinematography, and Stokley Voltmer ’18 who created dioramas with master builder Scott T. Hards and Citadel Miniature Ltd.
