Celebration of Retirement for Victoria Richardson

On May 19, 2016, the family, friends, and colleagues of Victoria Richardson gathered in the Cafritz Refectory to celebrate her retirement and 21 years of service to St. Albans School. Ms. Vickie, as she’s affectionately called, has been instrumental in in the daily lives of the students, faculty, and staff of this school. Whether it was delivering a package for items you forgot you ordered, setting the table for our family-style lunch, or making sure gathering spaces were just right for the events held in them, she put her special touch on all that she did. Said colleague Dan Ryan, “She taught us with how she lived and worked every day the most important lessons of how to love, how to pay happiness forward with constant acts of kindness, and how to make all of those around you feel better and be better by simply having been around her.” It’s with the utmost gratitude and best wishes that we celebrate her and all that she’s done for this school. Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
