Annual Giving: Every Teacher, Every Student, Every Day

Goal During the STRIVE Campaign

To strengthen St. Albans’ core fundraising program, which provides immediate budgetary support to ensure that students and faculty have the resources they need to excel in and beyond the classroom.
Gifts to Annual Giving help to provide scholarships and financial aid to talented students, update laboratory equipment and classroom technology, support faculty initiatives and salaries, and much, much more. AG, because it is unrestricted, provides St. Albans with powerful financial flexibility to meet core commitments and support new initiatives, creating a “margin for excellence” that ensures students will continue to receive an unparalleled educational experience.

Tuition provides only 75% of the cost of a St. Albans education; contributions to Annual Giving and draw from the endowment make up the balance, which is approximately $10,000 per student in 2015-16. In this way, AG directly supports teachers and learners each and every day.

Achieving this year’s ambitious goal of $2.4 million by June 30, 2016, will require special dedication and generosity from alumni, parents, and friends. Fortunately, our community has always found a way to fulfill the School’s educational mission.
Located in Washington D.C.,  St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
